Share market update: 41 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 41 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alembic Pharma,Aarti Drugs, Granules India, Astec LifeSciences , Cadila Healthcare, Britannia Industries, Dhanuka Agritech, Laurus Labs, Eveready Industries, Swaraj Engines, Reliance Communications and Vaibhav Global.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 77.70 points up at 10979.40 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 21 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Britannia Inds., HDFC Bank, Bharti Infratel, ICICI Bank and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers.

While Sun Pharma, Cipla, Shree Cements, Hind. Unilever and Maruti Suzuki were trading in red. The BSE Sensex was trading 259.81 points up at 37279.95.
