Share market update: 21 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 21 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alok Industries, Arvind Fashions, Axis Bank, Cantabil Retail India, Fine Organic Industries and Future Lifestyle Fashions.

Godfrey Phillips India, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, The Karnataka Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Power Finance Corporation, PVR, REC and Reliance Industries also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE.


Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 8.20 points up at 11,470.40 while the BSE Sensex was trading 33.01 points up at 38,128.08.

Overall, 31 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 were trading in the red. In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, ONGC, Hindalco Industries, Dr. Reddy's Lab and SBI were among the top gainers.

While Eicher Motors, Larsen & Toubro, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports SEZ and JSW Steel were trading in the red.
