NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Sensex pared most of its morning gains of nearly 180 points in trade on Thursday.

At 12:14 pm, the Sensex was at 25,089.25; down 157.00 points.

The 50-stock Nifty was at 7,510.05; down 48.15 points.
"Technically, Nifty has again retraced from almost previous week high levels of 7665-7670 signaling caution," LKP said in a report.

"However, strong supports are seen at 7500 level where short term average is also placed and as long as Nifty doesn't close below this level, bounce back in the benchmark index cannot be ruled out," added the report.

ZEE Entertainment Ltd: Foreign investor Goldman Sachs today offloaded more than 1.17 crore shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd for an estimated Rs 322 crore through open market route.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 1.2 per cent higher at Rs 279.40.

NTPC Ltd: NTPC's solar power project in Madhya Pradesh, the biggest in the country using domestically manufactured modules, has been commissioned.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 1.09 per cent higher at Rs 153.

Tata Steel Ltd: Moody's Investors Service today affirmed the credit ratings on Tata Steel as well as Tata Steel UK Holdings, saying that their profitability and cash generation are unlikely to deteriorate in the next 12 months.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading flat at Rs 521.80.

Reliance Industries Ltd: With delays in regulatory nod and gas price revision frustrating its attempts to reverse falling gas output from the KG-D6 field, BP chief executive Bob Dudley met Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to press for early decisions.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 0.12 per cent lower at Rs 1065.

Coal India, Sail, MMTC, NMDC, NHPC and Nalco: The finance ministry is working on a road map to divest stake in seven big state-run companies, which include Coal India, Sail, MMTC, NMDC, NHPC and Nalco. The government holds 80% or more stakes in these companies.

At 10:10 a.m.; Coal India was trading 0.6 per cent lower at Rs 391.65, MMTC was up 0.8 per cent to Rs 95.40, while NMDC was trading flat at Rs 175.10. NHPC was up 0.7 per cent to Rs 26.45 and NALCO was trading 0.2 per cent lower at Rs 57.70.

Tata Motors Ltd: Automotive major Tata Motors is considering a sponsored American Depository Receipts (ADR) issue after large shareholders with differential voting rights (DVRs) sought an exit through the US bourses.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 1.3 per cent higher at Rs 439.80.
 
Reliance Communications Ltd: RComm is looking to raise about $400 million (around Rs.2,400 crore) by selling shares to institutional investors, after rival Idea Cellular Ltd raised Rs.3,000 crore earlier this month in a similar way, said media reports.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 0.8 per cent higher at Rs 152.45.

Crompton Greaves Ltd: The Compnay has put up a part of its land parcel at LBS Marg in the eastern suburbs of this city for sale. Property consultants say the deal is likely to be announced in 7-10 days, said media reports.

At 10:10 a.m.; the stock was trading 2.2 per cent higher at Rs 202.55.
