Mumbai: State Bank of India (SBI) has launched an interoperable cardless cash withdrawal (ICCW) facility through which any bank customer in India can access the UPI payment system to scan and pay, and request money through its YONO mobile application.

The new feature was launched as part of the bank's 68th foundation-day celebrations.

On Saturday, SBI chairman Dinesh Khara launched 34 transaction banking hubs at top 21 district centres across the country providing comprehensive solutions for transaction, payment, and collection requirements under one roof. "The YONO app has been revamped, keeping in mind the expectations of our customers for a seamless and pleasant digital experience. This will further fulfil our goal of making the 'YONO for Every Indian' mission a reality," Khara said. Launched in 2017, YONO has over 60 million registered users.
