RBL Bank Ltd. shares drop 0.88% as Sensex rises

Sensex and Nifty shed more than 9 per cent last week, and the indices entered bear market territory, and the bottom is not yet in sight.
Shares of RBL Bank Ltd. traded 0.88 per cent down at Rs 179.45 at 12:09PM (IST) on Monday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 181.79 points to 36776.12. The scrip had closed at Rs 181.05 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 648.0 and Rs 101.6, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 12:09PM (IST) stood at 12:09PM shares with turnover at Rs 21.41 crore.


At the prevailing price, shares of the company trades at 18.21 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 9.83 per share and 1.01 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.5.
