Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India has fixed the limit for Ways and Means Advances (WMA) - a temporary lending facility for the government for the second half of the financial year 2023-24 - Oct-Mar- at ₹50,000 crore.

The central bank triggers fresh flotation of market loans when the government of India utilises 75 % of the WMA limit,a release by the RBI said.
