DSP Mutual Fund lapped up shares of Sheela Foam from its key promoter, while PPFAS Mutual Fund bought shares of Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) from Rural Electrification Corp (REC).
Meanwhile, of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 0.9 per cent to close at 39,467 points, while peer Nifty climbed 0.8 per cent to close at 11,655 points.

>> ICICI Bank sold 64,42,000 shares of ICICI Securities at Rs 480.95 per share.
>> DSP Mutual Fund bought 10,00,000 shares of Sheela Foam from promoter Tushaar Gautam at Rs 1,365 per share. DSP Midcap Fund held 3.19 per cent stake in the company at the end of June, while Gautam held 37.08 per cent.
>> The Bombay Burmah Trading Co bought 2,24,000 shares of Wadia-group company National Peroxide from The Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co at Rs 2,187.30 per share. The latter held 4.96 per cent stake in the company.
>> Central Bank of India sold 7,85,500 shares of Patel Integrated Logistics at Rs 31.08 per share.
