MTNL,Pricol among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 247.48 points up at 36,026.55 on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Ridings Consulting Engineers India (up 18.03 per cent), EIH Associated Hotels (up 15.71 per cent), Pricol (up 14.75 per cent), Indo Rama Synthetics (up 13.70 per cent), Walchandnagar Industries (up 12.63 per cent), Munjal Auto Industries (up 11.06 per cent), Pil Italica Lifestyle (up 10.97 per cent), Next Mediaworks (up 10.75 per cent), Zodiac JRD MKJ (up 10.48 per cent) and MTNL (up 10.20 per cent) were among the top performers.

Kesar Terminals (up 8.41 per cent), Ujjivan Financial Services (7.94 per cent) and Avanti Feeds (7.69 per cent) too were trading around 7-8 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 73.30 points up at 10,810.90.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
