Most active stocks in terms of volume on Monday

NEW DELHI: Shares Idea Cellular (number of shares traded: 2.78 crore) , ICICI Bank ( 0.96 crore) , SBI ( 0.79 crore) , PNB ( 0.73 crore) , Ashok Leyland ( 0.68 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday ’s session till 1.05 pm (IST).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 8.55 points down at 8632.7 around the same time, while BSE Sensex was down 21.61 points at 27860.85 on January 30.

In the Nifty index, Idea Cellular (up 8.91 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 4.60 per cent) , Grasim Inds. (up 2.84 per cent) , Sun Pharma (up 1.56 per cent) , Dr Reddys Labs (up 1.15 per cent) were among top gainers, while Bharti Infratel (down -2.18 per cent) , Aurobindo Pharm (down -1.96 per cent) , Tata Motors (down -1.42 per cent) , Tata Steel (down -1.23 per cent) , TCS (down -1.09 per cent) were trading in red.
