Most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Friday
NEW DELHI: Shares of Punjab National Bank (Rs 1977.24 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 902.59 crore) and State Bank of India (Rs 858.51 crore) stood as the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Friday.

Shares of Axis Bank (Rs 502.28 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 450.87 crore), YES Bank (Rs 418.75 crore), Hindalco Industries (Rs 390.70 crore), Tata Motors (Rs 358.79 crore), Idea Cellular (Rs 351.12 crore), SAIL (Rs 343.07 crore), PFC (Rs 338.25 crore) and IndusInd Bank (Rs 325.70 crore) also stood among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE.

Domestic equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty50 closed in the positive territory on Friday.

The Nifty50 index closed Friday's session 29 points up at 10,453, while BSE Sensex settled 112 points up at 33,686.

In the Nifty50 index, State Bank of India, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, IndusInd Bank and YES Bank and Axis Bank remained among the top gainers.

On the contrary, Power Grid Corporation of India, Sun Pharma, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Coal India, GAIL, Lupin, Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra and Bharti Infratel settled among the top losers in the Nifty50 index.

As many as 111 stocks, including Adani Ports, Balkrishna Industries, Bharat Forge and Bharti Airtel hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Friday.

On the contrary, Shaival Reality, TV Vision, Akash Infra-Projects, Sri Adhikari, Arcotech Ltd, Sintex Plastics Technology, DS Kulkarni Dev and Stampede Cap were among those 14 stocks that touched their new 52-week lows on NSE.

Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 21 settled in the green, while 28 in the red on Friday.
