Market tanks, but these stocks surge up to 5% today

The BSE Sensex was down over 200 points in afternoon trade, but there were plenty of stocks surged over 5 per cent on Friday.

Shares of Nath Bio-Genes (up 5.51 per cent), Xchanging Sol (up 5.67 per cent), Spice Mobility (up 5.69 per cent), Federal Bank (up 5.86 per cent), Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (up 6.03 per cent), Time Techno. (up 6.22 per cent), Gujarat Ambuja (up 6.39 per cent), Canara Bank (up 6.62 per cent), Sunil Hitech (up 6.67 per cent), Union Bank India (up 6.75 per cent), Vikas GlobalOne (up 6.90 per cent), Microsec Fin (up 7.48 per cent), Uttam Value Stl (up 8.33 per cent), Rane Eng Valve (up 9.44 per cent), Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Ltd. (up 12.03 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent higher around 11.30 am (IST).
In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Bank of Baroda (up 1.97 per cent), SBI (up 1.62 per cent), Asian Paints (up 1.54 per cent), Aurobindo Pharm (up 1.33 per cent), Ibull HousingFin (up 1.25 per cent), Bharti Infratel (up 0.98 per cent), HCL Tech (up 0.95 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.92 per cent), Adani Ports SEZ (up 0.82 per cent), Coal India Ltd (up 0.68 per cent) and ICICI Bank (up 0.57 per cent) were trading in green.

The Nifty 50 index was down 41.85 points at 9318.05 at around the same time. Among the 51 stocks in Nifty index, 20 were trading in green, while 31 were trading in red.
