Market Now: Sun TV, Infosys among most active stocks in value terms
NEW DELHI: Shares of Dr Reddy's Labs (Rs 279.63 crore), Sun TV (Rs 224.34 crore), Infosys (Rs 112.89 crore) and DLF (Rs 88.03 crore) were trading as the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in Friday's trade.

Reliance Industries (Rs 86.82 crore), Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 67.85 crore), HDFC (Rs 67.40 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 66.10 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 47.47 crore) and Sun Pharma (Rs 46.68 crore) were also in the league.

Robust buying in pharma, metal, bank and auto stocks helped the markets shrug off the choppiness of the previous session.

Pharma, realty and media indices surged over 2 per cent on NSE.

Pharma stocks were leading the Nifty pack, with Dr Reddy's, Aurobindo Pharma and Lupin emerging as the top three gainers in the index.

IT stocks were reeling under selling pressure.

TCS, Wipro and HCl Technologies were losing in trade.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was 33 points up at 9,951, while the 30-share Sensex was 128 points up at 31,858 around 10.30 am (IST).

In the Nifty50 pack, 38 stocks were trading in green, while 13 stocks were in red.
