Market Now: RIL, Infosys, SBI among most active stocks in value

NEW DELHI: Shares of RIL (Rs 237.73 crore), Infosys (Rs 210.79 crore), SBI (Rs 108.71 crore), Larsen & Toubro (Rs 98.88 crore), Motherson Sumi (Rs 82.77 crore), YES Bank (Rs 78.53 crore), Hero MotoCorp (Rs 76.80 crore) and PNB (Rs 73.95 crore) stood among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty was trading 33.90 points up at 10.382.65 at around 11.20 am (IST). Shares of Zee Entertainment (down 1.26 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (down 0.95 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 0.92 per cent) and Tata Steel (down 0.74 per cent) were among the top losers on NSE.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank (up 1.76 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 1.55 per cent), Infosys (up 1.49 per cent), Bharti Infratel (up 1.44 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 1.35 per cent), HPCL (up 1.19 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.19 per cent), Bajaj Auto (up 1.09 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra (up 0.89 per cent) were the top gainers.

Most active stocks in terms of value help investors to identify the stocks with highest trading turnover during the day.

Shares of Praj Industries, Advani Hotels, N K Industries, Euro Finmart, HSIL, Zuari Global, Puravankara Projects, Security and Intelligence Services (India), Tilak Nagar, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals hit their fresh 52week high in the morning trade.

On the other hand, shares of TV Vision, Sri Adhikari, Supreme Tex, Alkali Metals, Bohra Industries, Goenka Diamond stocks hit their new 52week low levels.
