Market Now: Over 100 stocks hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Stocks such as Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Cummins India, HMT, Indian Oil Corporation, Karur Vysya Bank, Mercator, Monnet Ispat and Energy and Welspun India also joined the bandwagon of stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE during Tuesday's trade.
Equity markets were reflecting cautious temperament ahead of the US Fed's key policy meet that begins later in the day.
However, buying in select metal, IT, auto and bank stocks were keeping the benchmark indices in the green.
The BSE Sensex was 71 points up at 32,994, while the Nifty50 was 19 points up at 10,113 around 11:15 am (IST).

Bharti Infratel, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Bosch and HPCL were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
However, NTPC, Indian Oil Corporation, Mahindra & Mahindra, Aurobindo Pharma and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
