Market Now: IB Real Estate, Oberoi Realty drag Nifty Realty index lower

NEW DELHI: Poor show of Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.69 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 0.76 per cent), Delta Corp (down 0.65 per cent), DLF (down 0.23 per cent) and Housing Development & Infrastructure (down 0.18 per cent) weighed on the Nifty Realty index in Friday's morning trade.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.44 per cent down at 280 around 10 am (IST). Benchmark Nifty50 index was 0.47 per cent up at 10,143, while Sensex was 0.51 per cent up at 32,345 around that time.

Some realty stocks such as Sobha (up 0.81 per cent), Unitech (up 0.78 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.58 per cent) were trading in the green.

On the NSE, 968 stocks were advancing, compared with 562 stocks declining and 435 stocks remaining unchanged.
