Market Now: HCL Tech, Bharti Airtel among stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE
NEW DELHI: Over 80 stocks, including HCL Technologies, Avanti Feeds, Bharti Airtel and Britannia Industries hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's trade.

Havells India, Hindalco Industries, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Indian Energy Exchange, MOIL, NBCC (India), Petronet LNG, Ramky Infrastructure, Sobha, Tata Chemicals and Torrent Power were also among the stocks that hit 52-week highs today.

On the contrary, Bank of Baroda, KSS, Nakoda, Orbit Corporation and TCPL Packaging were among those 19 stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows in Monday's trade so far.

Benchmark indices were trading lower on account of selling in auto, FMCG, pharma and banking sector.

However, IT stocks were gaining. Shares of HCL Technologies (up 1.21 per cent), MindTree (up 0.99 per cent), Infosys (up 0.92 per cent), Wipro (up 0.65 per cent), KPIT Technologies (up 0.59 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.27 per cent) were trading up in afternoon session on Monday, keeping the Nifty IT index in the green.

Shares of Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Coal India Ltd, BHEL, SBI, ITC, YES Bank, RIL, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda were among most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange.

On the NSE, 719 stocks were advancing, compared with 942 stocks declining and 318 stocks remaining unchanged.
