Jhunjhunwala sold 1.4% stake in Titan from May 22 to June 27

Mumbai: Investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala along with persons acting in concert sold 1.25 crore shares or 1.4 per cent stake in Titan between May 22 and June 27, said a BSE notice on Thursday.

According to the notice, total shareholding of Jhunjhunwala and persons acting in concert is 6.54 crore shares or 7.37 per cent stake. Their holding as of May 21 stood at 7.79 crore shares or 8.78 per cent. The notice said Jhunjhunwala’s holding along with persons acting in concert stood at 10.04 per cent in April 2007.

“This amounts to change of 2.6732 per cent which is exeeding 2 per cent of the total shareholding of Titan of mine along with persons acting in concert from the last disclosure,” said Jhunjhunwala in the notice.
