HUL declares Rs 18/share interim dividend, sets November 2 as record date

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) declared an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share on Thursday and set the record date as November 2, 2023, for the paymet of said dividend.

The interim dividend will be paid to the shareholders on or after November 16, 2023, the company said in a filing to the exchanges. It also announced its quarterly earnings for the June-September period.

HUL reported a 4% growth in its standalone net profit to Rs 2,717 crore for the September quarter, which was higher than ET Now estimate of Rs 2,590 crore. Meanwhile, its sales rose 4% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 15,027 crore in the reporting period, but were slightly below expectations.
