ICICI Bank was at Rs 1,198.30, up 4.86 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 1,206.20 and a low of Rs 1,191.50 in trade today.

L&T was at Rs 1145, up 4.43 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 1,152 and a low of Rs 1,118 in trade today.

HPCL: Positive market sentiment and strong rupee is likely to benefit the company, say dealers.

The stock was at Rs 231.50, up 3.70 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 232.85 and a low of Rs 225.55 in trade today.

Media stocks: Political environment to benefit Sun TV, Zee Entertainment, say dealers.
