Buzzing stocks: Neuland, Welspun Corp among top stocks that surged over 6%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Sensex was trading 141.27 points up at 29797.11 in early trade on Tuesday following robust earnings by heavyweight Reliance Industries amid firm global cues.

Shares of TBZ (up 6.03 per cent), Jayant Agro Org (up 6.14 per cent), Fedders Lloyd (up 6.60 per cent), Rain Industries (up 7.12 per cent), Neuland Labs (up 7.14 per cent), Welspun Corp (up 7.26 per cent), Prestige Estate (up 7.39 per cent), Jay Bharat Marut (up 8.48 per cent), Biocon (up 8.82 per cent) and Essar Shipping (up 11.58 per cent) were trading over 6 per cent higher in early trade on Tuesday.

In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Bharti Infratel (up 2.90 per cent), BPCL (up 2.25 per cent), M&M (up 2.00 per cent), Indian Oil Corp (up 1.68 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 1.45 per cent), Reliance Industries (up 1.45 per cent), PowerGrid (up 1.37 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 1.34 per cent), Wipro (up 1.28 per cent), HDFC (up 1.26 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 0.95 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 0.91 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 0.84 per cent), Ambuja Cements (up 0.65 per cent), Asian Paints (up 0.59 per cent), Tata Power (up 0.58 per cent), Dr Reddys Labs (up 0.47 per cent), Hindalco Inds. (up 0.45 per cent), Tata Steel (up 0.38 per cent) and YES Bank (up 0.36 per cent) were trading in green in early trade around 10.00 am (IST).

The Nifty 50 index hit its fresh all-time high of 9,279.80 in early trade on Tuesday.
