Arvind Q3 net profit falls 69 pc to Rs 75.37 crore

NEW DELHI: Textiles firm Arvind today reported 68.98 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012, at Rs 75.37 crore.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 242.95 crore in the corresponding period previous year, Arvind said in a filing to the BSE.

The consolidated net income during the third quarter, however, went up by 16.30 per cent to Rs 1,405.16 crore from Rs 1,208.17 crore in the year-ago period, it added.

Shares of Arvind today closed trading 2.81 per cent up at Rs 95.15 apiece on the BSE.
