ICICI Lombard mops up Rs 1,625 crore from anchor investors
The leading insurer would allot shares to 64 anchor investors at Rs 661 apiece -- upper end of the IPO price band.

The anchor investors include Nomura Trust and Banking Co, Kuwait Investment Authority Fund, BlackRock, Societe Generale, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, Nomura Singapore, BNP Paribas Equity Fund, DSP BlackRock, HSBC Indian Equity Mother Fund and Goldman Sachs India.
The Rs 5,700-crore IPO will open on September 15 and close on September 19.
The Company is a joint venture between ICICI Bank Limited and Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited. ICICI Bank has 63.31 % stake and Fairfax will be approximately 22.13%.
The IPO involves dilution of up to 8.62 croee equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each of ICICI Lombard General Insurance. The offer includes reservation of up to 4,312,359 share for ICICI Bank shareholders.
