US dollar ends dearer against rupee

MUMBAI: The US dollar ended dearer against the rupee at Rs 45.40/41 per dollar and the Pound Sterling also finished slightly higher at Rs 72.72/74 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) here today.
