Farhan Akhtar had been dating Shibani Dandekar for the past four years.
Newlywed couple, Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar were in a party hopping mood on Monday night, after tying the knot in a beautiful and intimate day ceremony in Khandala, a popular hill station near Mumbai, on Saturday.
The couple’s star studded morning celebrations of the weekend, turned into not one but two casual blowouts on Monday night, as Akhtar and Dandekar first visited the later’s home to catch up with some family and friends, and then made their way to Akhtar’s sister, Zoya’s dinner party, thrown to celebrate their wedding.
In one video, Dandekar, who wore a lavender dress, can be seen with her friends in the back area of Zoya’s house, which was transformed into a dance floor for the occasion, grooving to trippy music.

In attendance at this blowout were not just family members like Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, and Dandekar’s sister Anushka, but also some of the bride’s close friends including Rhea Chakraborty, who chose a black dress for the evening. The 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' actor, however, kept it basic and wore black shirt and pants.
Farhan Akhtar had been dating Dandekar for the past four years. The couple got married on Saturday, in presence of their family members and friends. The wedding was also attended by several celebrities like actors Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Farah Khan, Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar, music composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa among others.

Farhan, son of screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. The duo, who divorced each other after 16 years of marriage, have two daughters— Shakya and Akira. Dandekar has featured on series like ‘Four More Shots Please’ and ‘Hostages’.
