Tom Holland and Zendaya leave no stone unturned when it comes to impressing fans, both with their acting skills and their relationship. However, their marriage status has once again become a topic of discussion after Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach made a surprising revelation at the 2026 Emmy Awards.

Major update on Zendaya and Tom Holland's marriage

At the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14, Law Roach addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding Zendaya and Tom Holland's relationship. The stylist was asked about his earlier claim that the couple had already married.

Roach had previously said in March that Zendaya and Holland had tied the knot. However, while speaking during the CNN & Variety Red Carpet Live: TV's Biggest Night pre-show, he admitted that his earlier statement was not true.

According to Roach, "Well, I actually lied, she wasn’t married. They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour."

The stylist was questioned again about whether he was simply playing with reporters or trying to keep the couple's wedding plans private. Roach maintained that the wedding had not taken place officially, although he jokingly acknowledged that he could be misleading everyone again.

His latest comments have added another twist to a marriage story that has been surrounded by rumours for months.

Tom Holland reaction to the wedding

Law Roach's latest statement is particularly surprising because Tom Holland himself appeared to hint that the wedding had already happened.

In a June interview with Esquire, Tom Holland was asked about AI-generated photographs that appeared to show him and Zendaya getting married. He explained that his grandmother had seen the images and was upset that she had supposedly not been invited to the wedding.

When the actor was asked whether he had to explain the situation to other members of his family, Holland gave an answer that fuelled the marriage rumours even further. He indicated that the family members did not need an explanation because they had all been there.

Holland did not provide further details and chose not to elaborate when asked about the wedding day.

The actor has also referred to Zendaya as his “wife” on more than one occasion. During a podcast appearance in July, the Spiderman actor again used the term while talking about his relationship with the actress.

Zendaya, meanwhile, has also added fuel to the speculation. She was seen wearing what appeared to be a wedding band at the 2026 Oscars, and she has continued to wear the ring during several public appearances.

Law Roach has previously fuelled wedding rumours

This is not the first time Law Roach has made comments about Zendaya and Holland's alleged wedding.

In July, Zendaya's stylist claimed that the couple had a private wedding and suggested that they had managed to keep it away from public attention. He also dismissed speculation that they were planning another ceremony.

The situation became even more confusing after reports emerged about a private celebration involving the couple in August. According to a source, Zendaya and Holland hosted a private party at a luxury hotel in the English countryside to celebrate their wedding.

Law Roach also addressed AI-generated pictures that had circulated online and allegedly showed the couple's wedding. He confirmed that the images were fake and joked about the dress shown in them, saying he would not have chosen it for Zendaya. When asked whether he would style her for the real wedding if it had not happened yet, Roach said he would.

For now, the couple's relationship status remains surrounded by mystery.

Zendaya and Holland have had a busy year professionally as well. Both appeared in two major 2026 releases, The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hit theatres in July. Zendaya is also set to return in Dune: Part Three, which is scheduled to release on December 18.

At the 2026 Emmys, Zendaya is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Euphoria Season 3.
