ZAAP Boombox One review: 360-degree surround sound, 8-hour battery life make it a good buy for the price
The volume is surprisingly loud for the size but it sounds best up to about 70% volume.

This is one of the few budget speakers that gives you 360-degree surround sound. The Boombox One has a cylindrical design with a rotating volume control on top. It also has touch controls on top for play/pause which work well (though changing tracks is a bit iffy). We thought the build quality was great — its got a mesh fabric similar to what we see on other premium speakers.
Note that while the Boombox One is rugged and can handle drops and bumps, it is not waterproof — just splash resistant. The charging port and aux port are hidden under a rubber flap to avoid water damage. We also liked that the speaker has NFC for quick connections to NFC-equipped smartphones. Sound output is from 2 x 6W speaker drivers. We found it has good clarity and above average bass.

We had to speak loudly even with the speaker an arm’s length away. With 70% volume, we were able to get around 8 hours of battery life which is good enough for most users.
