Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro to come in 3 storage variants; leaks hint at November launch for Xiaomi 13 series

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its latest devices. While the brand is expected to launch its premium Xiaomi12 along with Mi Band 7 Pro in July, reports hint that the company is planning to introduce new models to its existing Xiaomi 12 series.

These new models will reportedly be named Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Dimensity Edition. There are also rumours that the Chinese smartphone maker launch its premium flagship Xioami 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro later this year.

Xiaomi launched its Xiaomi 12 Pro in India earlier this year. The premium smartphone comes with top-of-the-line features, a futuristic design, and enhanced photography capabilities. However, now all eyes are set on the new devices that are set to be launched.


Xiaomi 12S series: What We Know So Far
The smartphone will launch its devices in the Xiaomi 12S line-up later this year. However, leaks and teases about the upcoming devices are creating a buzz on the internet. The 12S series will feature standard and Pro models. Tech enthusiast Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to share details about the upcoming smartphones.

According to Sharma, the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12S Pro Dimensity Edition will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM and 512GB storage configurations. While the 12S and 12S Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the 12S Pro will also be offered with the Dimensity 9000 chip.

Meanwhile, several Chinese websites have indicated that Xiaomi may unveil its next line of flagship devices, the Xiaomi 13 series in November this year. According to other reports, the devices are likely to run on Andriod 13 and sport a 2K display. The Xiaomi 13 series devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
