Working in a cluttered office? This new concept may offer a bigger space to operate
The team home concept allows a large team to occupy a table where they can meet.

“The team home concept is gaining currency. Every team — between eight and 30 people — will get a very long table to themselves. This is a permanent location they can meet at,” said Liz Burow, vice-president, Strategy, at WeWork.
According to the company’s findings, an open office is not analogous to a crowded marketplace. Burow emphasised that shifting to an open office does not involve a break from other markers of hierarchy. “Some teams who still need privacy and confidentiality can find accommodation in specially designed spaces. You can lease spaces with nooks, phone booths and libraries, where people can work optimally,” she added.
