Popular Malayalam playback singer and television personality Rimi Tomy is all set to get married again. The singer recently opened up about finding love and taking the next step in her personal life in a video shared on her YouTube channel. Although she has not disclosed his identity, the singer shared a few details about her future husband.

In her YouTube video, Rimi spoke about how her family has always stood by her through different phases of life. But she felt there was something missing and she wanted someone to share her happiness and experiences with.

The singer revealed that, "My family has always been by my side, but there was always a void left by the absence of a partner – a void that only someone special could fill. Then, in 2026, someone entered my life."




Rimi has not revealed the name of her future husband yet. However, she offered some clues about his identity, making it clear that, “He is not an actor, a singer, a famous personality or a millionaire."

Rimi said she would share more details about his identity and profession soon.

Talking about what she expects from a life partner, the singer explained, "A life partner isn't someone you can just go out and pick off a shelf. He is someone whose vibe matches mine and with whom I can reach new heights in life. It truly feels as though he was a gift from God."

"The two took their time to know each other before deciding to move forward," Rimi said. They knew each other's strengths and weaknesses, and felt more secure in their relationship. The singer said she believes they can build a good future together and she looks forward to getting married soon. She added that she is leaving the timing of the wedding in God's hands.

Who is Rimi Tomy?

Rimi Tomy is a popular Malayalam playback singer, television presenter, reality show judge and actress. She began her singing career with the song 'Chingamasam Vannuchernnal' from the 2002 Malayalam film Meesa Madhavan. Composed by Vidyasagar, the song also featured Shankar Mahadevan.



Over the years, Rimi became known for her energetic stage performances and cheerful television presence. Apart from playback singing, she has hosted several television programmes and judged reality shows across different genres.

She also explored acting and made her film debut with 5 Sundarikal, directed by Aashiq Abu. Later, she played her first lead role opposite Jayaram in the 2015 film Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare. She has also appeared in song sequences in films such as Balram Vs Tharadas, Kaaryasthan and 916, besides featuring in advertisements.

Before announcing her plans to get married again, Rimi was married to businessman Royce. The couple tied the knot in 2008 but their marriage eventually came to an end. They legally divorced in 2019 after 11 years together.
