The two are reportedly set to tie the knot on November 11, 2026, after speculation about their relationship. While neither has publicly announced the wedding, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has shared a post revealing that Kavya’s parents invited him to the couple’s wedding reception in Chennai.

Revanth Reddy took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared some pictures featuring Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, meeting him at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The couple reportedly invited the Chief Minister to their daughter Kavya Maran’s wedding reception with Anirudh Ravichander.




In his post, Revanth Reddy said, "Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran. The wedding reception of Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander is scheduled to be held in Chennai on November 21. #KalanithiMaran #KavyaMaran."



The post has drawn attention because it is a public indication of the planned reception amid months of speculation about Anirudh and Kavya’s relationship. However, the couple and their families have not separately announced the wedding date or shared further details about the ceremony.

According to HT report, the wedding could take place on November 11, with a reception following later in the month. Actor Vijay has also been mentioned among the prominent guests reportedly expected to attend, although the guest list has not been officially confirmed.

Who is Kavya Maran?

Kavya Maran is the CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the IPL franchise owned by Sun TV Network. She is a member of the Maran family, which has substantial stakes in India's media and entertainment sector. She was born in Chennai on August 6, 1992.

Her father, Kalanithi Maran, is the chairman and managing director of Sun Group, a major media conglomerate with television channels and other businesses. Her mother, Kavery Maran, heads Sun TV Network as its CEO. Kavya is also related to politician Dayanidhi Maran, her uncle, who is associated with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).

Kavya completed her MBA at Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom. She has since become a familiar face at IPL matches and player auctions, where she represents Sunrisers Hyderabad and participates in decisions concerning the franchise.

Sun TV Network acquired the Hyderabad-based franchise in 2012 after the Deccan Chargers were terminated from the IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad made its debut in the tournament in 2013.
