There are many things that Air Asia chief Tony Fernandes is passionate about— sports being one them. While Fernandes, who owns the QPR football club and formerly led Lotus Racing, may be out of the F1 circuit for now (he sold his team, Caterham F1 to a Swizz and Middle Eastern consortium in 2014 ), he does keep up with the sport. Case in point, his recent encounter with Nico Rosberg.

Fernandes, who keeps his social media accounts up-to-date with several pictures, recently shared a photo with the now retired F1 champion. The two seem to have had a fun time catching up over tea. “Great to be bought a cup of tea from F1 world champion @nicorosberg. Retired as World Champion and now moving on to other things. Inspirational in many ways,” Fernandes captioned the picture. Looks like the feeling was mutual too. Soon after Fernandes put up the picture, Rosberg commented — “ It was great to see you Tony!”.
