When PM Modi paid tribute to Lokmanya Tilak with a message in the visitor's book at LSS
The Prime Minister made a pit-stop at Lokmanya Seva Sangh in Vile Parle (East) during his Mumbai visit.

The message hailed the words and message of the eponymous freedom fighter, in whose name the organisation was instituted over a 100 years back.
PM Modi, who celebrates his 69th birthday today, wrote, “Lokmanya Tilakji ke jeevan sandesh ko jeevan mantra banane ke liye aap sab ko dhanyavad. Swaraj is my birthright ka mantra aaj Bharat me hamare liye surajya hamara kartavya hai, hamara farz hai (hai) Yeh bhavmantra jan jan ki chetna bane aisi shubh kamna ke saath....Narendra Modi”
Roughly translated, the message reads: “Thank you for making the ethos of Lokmanya Tilak a life mantra. Today his message Swaraj is my birthright should be good governance is our responsibility, our duty. I hope this thought is shared by every citizen (of this nation).”
