Business summits are usually considered fertile ground for networking with entrepreneurs. When Snapdeal co-founder Kunal Bahl looked up the agenda for a recent event in the capital, he zeroed in on two famous names — Airbnb co-founder Nathan Blecharczyk, whom he was to meet later that evening, and laughologist Albert Nerenberg.

“Just look at his bio,” he said of Nerenberg. “Canadian independent filmmaker, journalist, actor, hypnotist and laughologist — I’ve never heard of a laughologist before,” he said. Bahl told ETPanache he found the concept fascinating and was very curious as to what exactly constituted laughter yoga. “I think laughter is very important especially when you’re running a high-intensity company. A little bit of laughter doesn’t do anyone any harm.”
