When Hasan Minhaj quizzed Shashi Tharoor about 'fleek', 'snacc' & 'thicc'

It looks like comedian Hasan Minhaj found Shashi Tharoor’s proverbial Achilles’ heel. While the MP is known for his formidable knowledge of the English dictionary, a short Twitter clip between the two showed Tharoor was at a loss for words, and even refusing to accept some slang as words at all.



Tharoor was quizzed about millennial lingo by Minhaj and was asked if he knew what words such as ‘fleek’, ‘snacc’ and ‘thicc’ meant.




Tharoor was not able define any of the words correctly — though he does get points for trying and having a good sense of humour.

What were Tharoor’s thoughts on the new lingo? “Good grief.”
