When Anil Kumble and gang did a 'Sholay' as team-building exercise

Recently, the former India captain visited the actual location where the movie was shot.

Anil Kumble had enacted 'Sholay' with his teammates during his playing days. Recently, the former India captain visited the actual location where the movie was shot — the ominous hills of Ramnagar near Bengaluru. A vulture sanctuary has come up in the mountains, once the lair of the fictional Gabbar Singh. Kumble posted a picture from the setting on social media. His son Mayas is also in the frame. “Saturday morning spent well at the #Ramadevarabetta Vulture Sanctuary! Also reminiscing the famous #Sholay movie!” he posted.



About a decade ago, when Kumble was an active cricketer, the Indian team had enacted their own version of 'Sholay' as a team-building exercise. Perhaps that generation of players should assemble in Ramnagar for an encore.
