What to look for in a wannabe CEO: An impressive CV or right attitude?
What’s more important to hiring CEOs — a good résumé or the right attitude?

For Ashish Goel, the CEO of Urban Ladder, it’s a mix of both. “You need to look for someone who is well-rounded and has an equal measure of credentials and attitude. A candidate lacking in either will not work out in the long term.”

Goel says, “I believe great talent finds you if you create a balanced work culture and build a strong product offering. I’ve always tried to hire people who have the right attitude and outlook towards their own experience and growth. Apart from this, things like the interview interaction, skill set, and cultural fit also determine the winning candidate.”.
