We are family: Sanjay Dutt spends quality time with wife, kids in Dubai

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was undergoing 'preliminary treatment' at Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital, is now in Dubai, spending quality time with wife Maanayata and children Shahraan and Iqra.

Amid reports that the 61-year-old actor is battling stage-3 lung cancer, his wife Maanayata posted a picture-perfect family portrait on Instagram on Friday.

In her gratitude-filled post, Mrs Dutt thanked the Almighty for the 'gift of family'. "No complaints...No requests... just to be together, forever," she captioned the post.

The shutterbugs had clicked the couple at the Mumbai airport two days ago, leaving for the Emirates.

Earlier on August 11, soon after Dutt announced his break from work for medical treatment, Maanayata rushed to Mumbai from Dubai to be by her husband's side. The children, who have been in Dubai during the lockdown, continued to stay there.

The couple returned to Dubai to be with their children, and the 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' star reunited with his children after months.

Dutt was hospitalised for breathing problems and chest discomfort and released a statement in which he said that he was taking a break from his professional commitments to focus on medical treatment.


Neither Dutt nor his wife has officially commented anything on the nature of the actor's diagnosis. He was most recently seen in 'Sadak 2' and is currently awaiting the release of 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' on Disney Hotstar.
