Watch: 'Captain America: Civil War' new trailer released, fans go wild

The latest trailer of 'Captain America: Civil War' hit the Internet on Thursday, and how.

The trailer not only boasts of an epic battle between Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, but also marks the debut of Spider Man, who sends the fans of the franchise into a frenzy, with his introduction: "Hey, everyone!"

The two-and-a-half minute clip sees the Marvel superheroes divided into two camps, one led by the Iron Man, and the other by Captain America. Interestingly, new entrant --Spider Man, is on Downey Jr's side. As the two groups battle it out, fans are treated to some intense action moves.

The trailer begins with a montage of destruction the Avengers have caused worldwide. Next, Tony Stark quips, ""We need to be put in check. Whatever form that takes, I'm game."

Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans is quick to retaliate and says, "I know we're not perfect, but the safest hands are still our own".

Thus, begins a struggle of ethos between the two, taking into fold the other superheroes choosing sides.

The film stars Evans, Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo and Martin Freeman, with William Hurt and Daniel Bruhl.

'Captain America: Civil War' is all set to hit theatres on May 6, 2016.
