Virat Kohli's fitness tip for India Inc: Organise Sportswear Day in offices for a healthier workforce
Fresh from a T20 series win against New Zealand, Virat Kohli is on a high. On Thursday, the Indian captain's excitement was caught on camera as he pushed the cause of physical fitness, a subject close to his heart, while launching his personal athleisure line, Puma One8, in association with Puma in Delhi. For the uninitiated, 18 happens to be the Indian skipper's jersey number..

The athletic Kohli, who recently stopped endorsing cola beverages, is known to be a health freak. That's why it came as no surprise when he encouraged every company to introduce a Sportswear Day for a healthier workforce.

"Sportswear is comfortable and fun, and should be made a part of every organisation," Kohli, said, when asked how can bankers and corporate executives stay fit.

Batting for physical fitness, the 29-year-old said that all health concerns will disappear if one is able to take care of one's body.

"We reach a stage where there is an urgent need of going out for walking or jogging, and only then we sort of do it because it is a crisis situation. Don't wait for the last minute and take time out for fitness daily, which in turn will influence people around you in the right way,” he emphasised.

Kohli admitted that he doesn't skip his fitness schedule even on a lazy day as "fitness is more of a lifestyle than a sport".

The cricketer, who was seen sporting black ankle-length pants, shared that he had worked on the size, colour, look and length of the entire athleisure collection.

When asked about the unusual length of pants, Kohli smiled and said, "I like them short. It helps them not get messy."
