The Disturbing Discovery

In the video, the uploader humorously questions if the presence of worms signifies an "extra dose of protein" provided by the company. Further examination of the granules uncovers an eerie white substance, initially dismissed as "cream" by the uploader. However, subsequent granules exhibited similar suspicious contents, with the packet itself displaying signs of bacterial or worm activity at the bottom.

Despite the product being well within its expiry date, as indicated by the March 2024 date on the packet's thumbnail, concerns were rightfully raised over the unexpected findings.


The video quickly gained traction, eliciting various reactions from social media users. Some users shared their past encounters with similar issues, expressing dismay over the continued sale of the product despite previous incidents. Others vowed to discontinue consuming Kellogg's Chocos, opting for alternative breakfast options such as cornflakes.

Kellogg's India Issues Statement of Regret

In response to the video, Kellogg's India issued a statement expressing regret and assuring consumers that their concerns would be addressed. The company stated, "We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you. Our Consumer Affairs team would get in touch with you to understand your concern. Earlier, a similar incident happened in Hyderabad, where a man from Hyderabad found a live worm crawling in a Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate he had bought from a metro station.
