The 75th Cannes Film Festival caught a glimpse of Indian culture on Wednesday as dance, music and laughs filled the conference room.
During the inauguration of the Indian pavilion at the 2022 gala, Rajasthani singer Mame Khan, who is part of the Indian delegation this year, enthralled the people in attendance with an impromptu folk song.
The desi ladies at Cannes shook a leg to Khan's soulful melody.

For the inauguration, Padukone wore an asymmetric fitted jacket by ArdAzAei with open pleats on the right side and hidden metal hook closure in the front. The structural double weave silk with stretch elastane was worn with tailored, slightly flared high waisted trousers in the same silk fabric. She completed her look with a statement Cartier choker. Deepika Padukone in ArdAzAei Bhatia dazzled in an embroidered saree with metal pipe and drape, designed by Amit Aggarwal, while Rautela was a stunner in a black dress. Tamannaah Bhatia in Amit Aggarwal Hedge chose a white dress and a matching cape with a long train from Honayda Fashion Week 2022 collection - ‘A charm from Afghan’. The collection reveals features of the Afghan woman through different stories, symbolising each of her incomparable characteristics with unique prints exclusively designed in-house. She completed her look with MISHO’s tidal gold hoops and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
