"Remote working solutions like Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Meet are used for discussions and meetings. WhatsApp messenger groups are used to remain in touch with the team and for messaging," he told ET Panache.
The whole disposition towards work from home has changed for good. Since everyone is impacted and has adopted work from home feels Raheja.
Difference "The earlier perceived luxury for few is now a realised necessity for all, which helps in many ways. However, there wasn’t any time to prepare for this new normal. Moreover, the office environments provided for the ease of discussion beyond the scope of work and communicating ideas in person. That has become a challenge now while maintaining social distancing. There is a thin line between managing office work and getting distracted by daily home chores. While home food access, along with other hygiene, has improved health, physical inactivity has crept up due to lack of mobility," he says.
The sleep hours have shifted a little for Raheja. "The day still starts at 7 am, and work begins by 9 – 9.30 am, but there is no day closing hours. The flexibility to be available virtually at any time has superseded the norm of 9-5 office working hours. The discipline hasn’t really set in to understand the work-life balance. Similarly, there can be distractions during the day from personal lives, which can pause office work for a while. But that is more of a self-discipline issue," he says.
Fitness Fitness is paramount but perhaps most compromised during the COVID times. With smaller or no recreational spaces available within homes and lack of availability of gyms and open walk/jog facilities. There are fewer provisions available for work out.

"I generally do self-yoga sessions or brisk walking during the early morning or late evening hours. But there is definitely more to be done to regain fitness and maintain a healthy self," Raheja says.
The Universal Mednet director has been reading a lot and has undertaken some new courses to build his knowledge. These were always in the to-do list before but are only possible now during the lockdown.
