Uday Kotak's elder son Jay heads to Harvard

B-schools, they say, are important for peer learning. And more for networking. By that logic, Harvard Business School's MBA Class of 2017 is primed for some serious deepening of existing networks.

Jay Kotak, elder son of Uday Kotak, executive vice chairman & MD, Kotak Mahindra Bank, will go to Harvard in August. He will have as his classmates the newlyweds, Aarti Kaji ( ICICI Bank's MD & CEO Chanda Kochhar's daughter) and Aditya Kaji, and Adwaita Nayar ( KKR India CEO Sanjay Nayar's daughter).

However, Adwaita had told ETPanache in an earlier interaction, that though she has got the admission, she hasn't made up her mind yet and may defer it by a year.

And should the four need help figuring their way around campus, they can always hang with Parth Jindal (JSW Group CMD, Sajjan Jindal's son), who is their senior at the school. Parth started his MBA last year and will graduate in 2016.
