The Pune-based boss is also a fan of cooking.
Mercedes-Benz India boss Martin Schwenk may be a man in the car business, but what makes him truly happy is a not a two wheeler. Rather than a four wheeler, he prefers the humble bicycle when it comes to letting his hair down.

The German loves road cycling and finds that the best way to exercise. He told ET Panache, "India is not the country for road cycling. I don't have the guts to go on the roads here. I end up in the gym. I like cycling a lot. Whenever I have the opportunity, I do that. That is something I enjoy. Though it is not that often, here."

He uses a Xiaomi fitness watch which he likes a lot. But it is not the fitness records that the Mercedes boss likes to shatter. "I don't foucs on the metric, I don't need the records. I do it for fun. When I ride the bicycle -I am more conscious of time. I ride it for an hour and it is good," Schwenk said.

Since he is not confident to get out on the streets, he makes sure he rides a lot of bicycle indoors in the gym. The Pune-based boss loves cooking as well.

But it is nothing fancy in the kitchen for the German family.

He adds, "I follow an ordinary home-cooked style. Whatever time I have left, I spend with my wife and my family. That may not be a hobby, but it has the highest priority for me."
