Twitter is working on ‘undo tweet’ button, but the feature is not for free

Twitter has confirmed that it's working on an 'undo tweet' button that will allow users to undo their tweets in case they spot an error in their tweet. However, it comes with a cost and will be available to only those who are on paid-subscription.

During an investor conference on February 26, the micro- blogging site's chief executive officer (CEO), Jack Dorsey had confirmed the reports and said that Twitter was working on new subscription-based features. But it's still not confirmed whether the new feature will be released worldwide or will be region-specific.

The tweet undo button was first spotted by reverse engineering expert Jane Machun Wong, who shared a screengrab of the feature which says 'Undo Tweet' located in the setting option.




What's in store?
The feature will allow users to undo the tweet only for a limited time duration once the post has been made. The time restriction will be similar to that available on Gmail.

The 'Undo Tweet' button will surely make the job a lot easier for those who constantly struggle with typos or spelling errors in their text and often miss out on it while posting. Since we all know how brutal people on Twitter can be when it comes to trolling and spamming, this new feature sounds pretty promising in terms of avoiding such blunders on the micro- blogging site.

So far, the social media giant company hasn't confirmed the date for the feature roll-out. Apart from this, Twitter is also coming up with the 'Super Follow' subscription plan, which will give users an opportunity to earn some cash for their tweets.

This feature might possibly lure influencers from other social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and help boost the micro- blogging site’s reach furthermore.
