Toxic teaser out: Yash as Raya steals the show with unmatched swag in first glimpse. Netizens call it 'insane and pure Hollywood vibes'

Rocky star Yash is celebrating his 40th birthday today (January 8). On this special occasion, the makers are going to 'tease' the fans with Toxic glimpse and we can't wait. Starring Yash, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Nayanthara in lead roles, the film is all set to release on March 19, 2026. Toxic is going to clash with Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2. Now, the makers finally unveiled a glimpse of the film.

Toxic first teaser glimpse OUT

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter), Yash and makers dropped the first glimpse of introducing the KGG actor. He is playing the role of RAYA. The 2 minute and 51 second teaser introduces Yash in the role of Raya. It opens with a tense funeral scene set in a graveyard. Believing that no one would dare disrupt his son’s last rites, a crime boss gathers his men at the site. However, the calm is shattered when Raya arrives and triggers chaos, blowing up parts of the graveyard.



The teaser then shows Raya stepping into the funeral grounds and ruthlessly gunning down everyone present. These violent sequences establish his character as a feared and cold-blooded figure. With this explosive introduction, the teaser sets the tone for Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.


The glimpse went viral in no time. Calling it a "pure Hollywood vibe," netizens praised Yash’s swag and the film’s style. Some users commented, "Get ready, fasten your seatbelts," while others said they are excited to see what Yash and Geetu have cooked for audiences.

On Wednesday, January 7, actor Yash shared a message for his fans through his Instagram Stories, addressing their long wait to meet him. He acknowledged that he knows fans have been eager to see him in person over the past few years and said he has felt the same.

However, Yash explained that he is currently fully focused on completing his upcoming film so it can be ready for its theatrical release on March 19, 2026. Because of this commitment, he said he would not be able to meet fans on his birthday this year. The actor added that he plans to make it up to them and promised that they would meet in a much bigger way soon. He also assured fans that he would personally go through their birthday wishes and appreciate all the love sent his way, the post signed simply as “Yash.”

While fans may miss the chance to meet the actor on his birthday, the makers of Toxic have planned a special celebration for the occasion. On Wednesday, the team announced that the film’s teaser will be released on January 8. Along with the announcement, they unveiled a new poster showing Yash walking through fire. The makers also confirmed that the teaser will drop at 10:10 am, giving fans something exciting to look forward to on the special day.
