A new study has shown that cutting down your calories by a quarter in the time span of two years improves the quality of your life, and especially your sex life. Over the years, the common belief is that going on a drastic diet leads to irritability, irritability and a flagging libido.

But researchers at the Louisiana State University recently fou nd t ha t those people of normal weight or who were just slightly overweight felt much better when they went on a low calorie diet over a period of time.

The study showed that this group felt less tense, had an improved sexual drive, and consequently, slept much better. Losing about 7-8 kilos resulted in them having generally improved moods, leading to better action between the sheets.

The findings show that dieting could also help people feel healthy and happy. But the researchers warned that calorific restriction isn’t for everyone and should be undertaken after consulting with a doctor.
