Hello, Delhi! Tim Cook reaches India's capital after wrapping Mumbai affair, Apple CEO calls Lodhi Art District 'remarkable'

Apple CEO Tim Cook is on a full India tour as the businessman touched down in Delhi where the billionaire was absolutely left stunned by the Capital's "remarkable" Lodhi Art District.

Cook is in the country for the grand opening of Apple's two stores in two major cities - nation's political capital Delhi & nation's financial capital Mumbai. Ahead of Apple Saket store launch scheduled to take place on Thursday, Cook is clearing out and about in the city for some sightseeing and what better place to start from than the mesmerising artistic lanes of Lodhi Art District.

The walls of buildings lined up in the entire area don beautiful murals that the city is famous for. The 62-year-old congratulated the "amazing artists" for capturing Indian life so powerfully.


"Delhi’s Lodhi Art District is a remarkable public space. Congratulations to the St+art India Foundation and so many amazing artists for capturing Indian life so powerfully. And thank you to Dattaraj Naik for showing me how you design your murals on iPad," Cook wrote on Twitter alongside pictures from his visit to Delhi's Lodhi Art District.

From bingeing on Mumbai's famous vada pav with 'Dhak Dhak' queen Madhuri Dixit to hitting all the right spots in the city, Cook's India visit so far has hit the right chords with Indians who are absolutely loving the Apple CEO.
After throwing open the gates to Apple's first store, Cook stepped out for a well-planned tour of Mumbai, starting with a one-on-one with some of the biggest badminton players in the country, Cook met Coach Gopichant and champs Saina Nehwal Champions Saina Nehwal, Srikanth Kidambi, Chirag Shetty, and Parupalli Kashyap at the badminton court to discuss how Apple Watch helps athletes train.
The tech giant company co-founded by Steve Jobs, Apple completes more than 25 years in India this week.
