This is how a Chennai-based finance company jazzes up the lives of employees

The best way to beat the Monday blues is to wear blue, or so feels P N Vasudevan, managing director of Equitas Small Finance Bank.

This Chennai- based finance company has come up with a unique way making boring office attire more interesting.

The entire office dresses up in T-shirts of the same colour for each day of the week.

“We wear blue on Mondays to beat the blues, red to fire up Tuesday, yellow to mellow Wednesdays, green to brighten up Thursdays and orange to add zing to Fridays,” says Vasudevan with a smile.

Employees have been sporting these ‘fun uniforms’ religiously, says Vasudevan, adding that it’s also fun for customers.

“Many companies follow a casual dress code to boost morale and increase efficiency of employees.

However, unlike us, most of those companies don’t interact with customers directly.

Our objective is to create everlasting and personified impressions among our customers with these T-shirts.”
