The recent event took place in Chennai at the wedding reception of producer Kalpathi S. Suresh’s son. Videos from the function showed Vijay arriving with a bouquet while Trisha greeted guests and interacted warmly with attendees. The two actors were also seen walking to the stage together to congratulate the newlyweds and later posing for photographs before leaving the venue around the same time. Their presence together soon became a topic of discussion online.As the clips from the reception circulated widely, another video of Trisha from a past interview began trending again. In a 2016 conversation with journalist Sreedhar Pillai for IndiaGlitz, the actor spoke openly about marriage and the reasons she has not rushed into it.
During the interview, Trisha explained that she does not have a specific timeline for marriage. She said that the decision would depend entirely on the person she meets and whether she truly feels she can spend the rest of her life with that individual. The actor added that she strongly believes in commitment and does not see divorce as something she would want in her life.
She added, "I want to feel whether this is the person I can live with for the rest of my life because I don't believe in divorce. I don't want to go in for a divorce when I get married and I'm someone who will."
The actor further said that she would prefer to wait patiently for the right partner rather than rush into marriage. At the same time, she added that she is comfortable with the idea that marriage may not happen at all. For her, that possibility does not feel unfortunate, it would simply mean that life unfolded differently.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Trisha continues to stay busy with several upcoming projects. She is expected to appear in films such as Vishwambhara and Karuppu, both of which have generated interest among fans.Vijay, on the other hand, is preparing for the release of Jana Nayagan, which is widely expected to be his final film before fully stepping into politics. The actor has already launched his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, and has expressed his intention to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
